1. Presentation.
Course Degree in Law lies in view of a progression of studies designed to be particularly significant and qualifying educational organization postulated by the university reform in '99. It represents and embodies two dimensions, the sign offering the widest range of possibilities available to students. On the one hand, in the Master degree is not intended to be a necessary completion of the course on legal frameworks, in the sense that already constitute the same Bachelor of cognitive paths in line with a significant number of possible job opportunities in the context today's society. On the other part, however, the Master of Science aims to fulfill the wishes and expectations of those who aspire to further the study of legal matters by drawing the foundation needed to address the conduct of some professions more "traditional" as those of lawyers, judges or notary.
is necessary to clarify, however, that this second aspect, that the pursuit of such objectives is designed according to criteria of modernity accentuated in setting the course and content of materials that are part of it: in the first year, as expected common to all students, educational activities emerge so far outside, in whole or in part, the previous teaching models (eg only the matter of criminal law or the complementary language skills and computer). In the second year of similar characteristics are markedly enhanced by the provision of separate curricula designed to provide a rich and detailed guidance (eg, among others, from various fields of comparative law, the right environment, the standardization of the Union European Union, the manner in various areas of law related to the World Economy and Labour and many others).
As a whole the Master degree is not, therefore, separate and autonomous learning experience than that distinguishes the three-year courses. The wind that prevails in the new Bachelor is communicated to the same degree, so that the matters discussed above could recur, and articulated in the context of the biennium of Law: doing so, ultimately, that the judge or the lawyer's the future can benefit from cognitive interdisciplinary contributions, increasingly needed to manage a world of social relations and a multiplicity of problems in practice - application can not be compared - also thanks to the impressive process of globalization - with those found up to the recent past.
must finally be observed that access to the degree it does not appear foreclosed, according to the principles accepted in the reform, students from courses not enshrined in the Faculty of Law, notwithstanding that such access implies the need for an evaluation in line with details provided in the academic regulations, can not be denied as even in this last respect, the degree is to act as a drawing broader view of an increase of its cultural stimuli of a modern and advanced society.
