The COOGEN opposes the amendments proposed by the Regional Council, the Law 28/2007 on the right to education.
We recall briefly that Law 28/2007 has introduced the principle of dual ranking, which the families with incomes below € 32,000 ISEE can access to request a refund and exclusive differentiated according to whether their children attend private schools / public or officially recognized, with the availability of resources defined for a 60% to the list to attend public schools and 40% for private ones. The law of 2007 over the previous Law 10, known as "Leo the law", which provided good school, to be devoted exclusively to families with children enrolled in private schools without the need for submission of ISEE and with a simple application form.
The proposed amendments to this law today include:
shown that these changes are clearly unconstitutional, as Article. 34 of the Constitution provides "scholarships, allowances to families and other provisions" to ensure the right to the study of "capable and worthy, even without financial means" and states that "must be attributed to the competition." In addition, Art. 33 states that "... institutions and private persons have the right to establish schools and educational establishments at no cost to the state. ... "That is not providing any support to private schools.
We therefore believe that scholarships should be awarded on merit and personal means and which can not however be seen as "expenses" that are independent from both conditions need to be responsible.
hope instead that the law 28 can be improved by giving priority to aid to public schools, attend, remember, from about 95% of students in Piedmont, to improve the quality of services, transportation for students, the training offer, the reimbursement of the cost of their loan books or use.
We must not let our guard down, even though the moment is difficult and we do not see the end of this tunnel.

IF NOT NOW WHEN: MOBILIZATION OF WOMEN IN ITALIAN
Druento will leave together with the bus 59 - Meeting at 13:15 at the bus stop in Via Torino, ang. Via Manzoni.
If not now when slogan that identifies the event on February 13 in all locations in Italy, an event that does not want to be contrast between women, but of solidarity among women, a solidarity across and also enlarged the male universe, a universe which offers the opportunity to express on this occasion its sincere and mature witness of friendship and cooperation.
Here are the details of participation in the event If not now when of Sunday, Feb. 13 in Turin.

Druento will leave together with the bus 59 - Meeting at 13:15 at the bus stop in Via Torino, ang. Via Manzoni.
Get off at Piazza Solferino and feet will reach Piazza San Carlo, where we can meet with those who will arrive using their own resources, at 14.15 near the newsstand at the corner of Santa Teresa ( close Caffé San Carlo).
The official date of the event is at 14:30 in Piazza San Carlo.
parade route for any : Via Roma, Piazza Castello, Via Po, Via Rossini, Verdi Street (to read the appeal in front of the RAI), Via Montebello, Via Po , Piazza Vittorio.
The organizations are calling to you all to arrive, bringing the appointment:
- an umbrella, "to repair our bodies from the mud that it rains on me"
- a ball of colored wool, to weave a web of all colored and all of us.
In the square and throughout the procession will be organized in such creative moments: a moment of silence followed by a great collective howl of rage (the first is scheduled at 15)
will also be given the indication for the simultaneous opening of umbrellas.
Beyond these collectively, each and everyone express their creativity!
In strict compliance with the autonomy and the transversality, it reminds everyone that all
there should not be partisan or SYMBOLS OF ASSOCIATION OR TRADE UNION . If some or were still in place with these symbols you will be required or storing. Again, there will be no stages or operations.
- The event is not made to judge other women against other women, or to divide women into good and bad. Signs and banners must not lead to misunderstandings about this.
- The event is made to express strong indignation and women.
